A new website, built from what's already yours

We start from your current site: your services, hours, photos and the way you describe your business. We turn it into a clean, modern site that works properly on a phone and makes it easy for customers to call, book or find you.

The upkeep

Looked after, every month

We host the site and keep it secure and working. When something changes, like new hours, a new service or a new photo, you send us an email and we update it. No logins to learn, and nothing to maintain yourself.

    A one-page plan in plain words: what we'd change, and the price. Nothing starts until you've agreed to it.

    You see it first

    We build the new site and you look it over before it goes live. Ask for changes and we make them.

    It goes live

    The new site replaces the old one at your own web address, and we look after it from then on.

Our mission

Local businesses are great at what they do, and most are too busy to fuss over a website. Lampwright exists to give them one that works as hard as they do: built from what's already theirs, kept up to date every month, and never something they have to think about.

Pricing

Pay once, or pay monthly with nothing up front. Either way, you get the exact price in writing before any work starts.

Monthly plans include hosting and upkeep and run for a 12-month minimum. If you pay once, hosting and upkeep are $79 a month (one change a month included), or $149 a month for unlimited small changes.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to send you to get started?
Just your business name and your current website address. We build from what's already on your site: your words, photos, hours and services. If there's anything else you'd like on the new site, send it along.
Will I see the new site before it goes live?
Yes. You look it over first, and two rounds of changes are included. Nothing goes live until you say so.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the site. You'll get a date in your plan before any work starts.
Do I keep my web address?
Yes. Your web address stays yours, in your name, and so does everything on your site: your words, photos, logo and business name.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Most of your customers will find you on a phone, so every site is built for small screens first and checked on them before it goes live.
Do I have to learn any software?
No. There are no logins to learn and nothing to maintain. When something changes, like new hours, a new service or a new photo, you email us and we update it.
What if I want to leave?
Upkeep can be cancelled any time with 30 days' notice by email, and a monthly plan the same way once its 12 months are up. When you go, we hand you a copy of your site and help you move it.
